Abstract :
Building demolition is an important subject for urban construction and development. Blasting simulation is very helpful for safe scientific blasting. It will provide a novel method to decision making for blasting combined with geographic information system (GIS) and virtual reality (VR). Three-dimensional model and scene of the building were constructed based on visualization and modeling function of geographic information system (GIS). To set the collapse building as subject, it has realized simulation of building blasting via the temporal spatial model. It has constructed a prototype system via Visual Basic and ArcEngine. Based on blasting theory and spatial analysis technology, the system has developed many functions, such as reappearance of demolition scene, bursting stress analysis and demolition result assessment and so on.
