Abstract :
Integrated service has provision for end-to-end QoS to applications over the network. However, it has the problem of scalability. On the other hand, differentiated service enforces the handling of traffic aggregation to provide IP QoS with scalability. In this paper, we present an end-to-end admission control scheme with integrated multi-class traffic in a DiffServ network. This scheme can achieve the QoS requirements of each class which include real-time and non-real-time traffic. Simulation results show that the scheme provides flexible and efficient end-to-end multi-class QoS guarantee over a DiffServ network
