Abstract :
It was found that the PTM (phase transition mastering) process usually use for mastering 25 GB blu-ray ROM discs had capability of producing a 65 GB ROM disc whose linear density and the track pitch were 77 nm/bit and 0.178 muum respectively. The jitter value of the 65 GB disc, measured with the assistance of the near field optics, was 5.5%
