Abstract :
An improved OPAST algorithm for spatio-temporal multiuser detection technique is proposed to increase the system capacity and improve the SNR in DS-CDMA systems employing the antenna arrays. The improved OPAST algorithm called newOPAST is based on the OPAST algorithm and can be applied in the overloaded DS-CDMA systems. Simulation results show that the newOPAST algorithm has low complexity and a stable global convergence property, and its performance is close to that of the classical algorithms with high complexity in the blind spatio-temporal multiuser detection
