Abstract
Presents the application of a multi-modal preferential logic to the design of rational agents. The author adopts a justification-based approach described as a platform and extends the approach to deal with multiple modalities and meta-level criteria of preference. The extension results in a logic that can be used to model reactive behavior in reasoning about beliefs, goals and intentions
