Abstract :
Digital watermarking is an important means for copyright protection. This paper presents a fragile watermarking algorithm for copyright protection based on chaotic system. The algorithm first generates a location matrix. Then it generates the mapping image and identify the embedding location of watermarking in image blocks according to the location matrix generated first. Finally it embeds the watermarking sequence, which is related with the mapping image blocks and generated by Hénon chaotic map, into the least significant bit (LSB) of the corresponding location in each block. Due to the interleaving of the image content and watermarking, the algorithm has a high security. The simulation results show that the watermarking image has good invisibility and the algorithm can detect and locate the tamper in the watermarked image. From this, the algorithm can protect the image´s copyright.
