Abstract :
Increasing IP based infrastructure of wideband and networks from one side and furthermore, the competitive atmosphere of business in terms of covering the consumers´ expectation with raising the quality of their services, are leading to make IPTV pervasive. Consumer behavior on the web has been the subject of considerable research in the last few years, but understanding it is made difficult by the fact that the main entities involved, consumers and businesses, have been transformed. Based on the results of this study, it is noticeable that IPTV need to be introduced to the Iranian people. In addition, it is shown that people would like to use this technology. Finally, for future work, it is suggested to develop an adoption model to investigate the IPTV acceptance in developing country and Iran as well.
