According to the characteristics of the lean production model, the cost and the time are considered to be strictly controlled in the materials supply system. The path planning model is established to obtain the shortest path for the materials supply vehicles in the manufacturing enterprises. The Dijkstra algorithm is chosen to solve the model. The original path planning result and the dynamic path planning result are generated in accordance with the Dijkstra algorithm steps and the data provided by the geographical information system. Example shows that the path planning model is effective. The steps of this method and its application are described in detail.
