Abstract :
We demonstrate electro-optically tunable switches using coupled-microrings on silicon-on-insulator, which show flat-top passbands with ~100GHz bandwidth and ~45dB extinction ratio. We show simultaneous switching of 20Gbit/s signal transmissions in 10 channels with 1.9/1.4ns switching times.
