Summary form only given, as follows. Some basic concepts in chaotic dynamics are considered, including attractors, fractal dimension, and sensitive dependence on initial conditions, etc. Attention is also given to such recent developments in chaos as new methods for the analysis of experimental data from chaotic systems and techniques for controlling chaotic processes.
