  • Abstract
    In this paper, various acceleration methods for field computations using graphical processing units (CPU´s) are discussed. An examination is performed on various routines and algorithms common in field computations, such as iterative solvers (FDTD) and matrix solvers (FEM/MoM), and their applicability and performance are tested using GPU implementations. The results are compared against current CPU only methods and acceleration is analyzed. Sample results are presented and shown to agree with known solutions while maintaining various degrees of acceleration
