Abstract :
According to the deficiency of traditional Fourier transform in faults diagnosis during the early period, the paper puts forward a new method to detect the abrupt change signal in the stator current based on wavelet module maximum theory. Simulation results show that the designed method can detect and locate the early stator faults even with trivial characteristic quickly and accurately.
