Research on modern security product design

With the rapid development of China´s economy, the property of the people is increased, and there appear a series of social contradictions; the guarantee of personal safety and security of the social assets have become the focus of various walks of life. As the key in the guideline of the combination of “human prevention, technology prevention and property prevention” determined in China, the security products do not arouse the attention of industrial designers. The theory and practice research is seriously lack in China. This paper examines the development trends of the security product design from the industrial design perspective, on the basis of research analysis, puts forward the proposal that the industrial designers shall participate in the integrated development and design of security products, and summarizes the elements and principles of the integrated development and design of security products.
