Abstract :
This paper proposes a new multicode interference cancellation algorithm which uses frequency responses of the channelization codes used in HSDPA system. The proposed algorithm estimates the multicode interference components at the chip rate, and then it improves the detection performance e by removing the estimated interferences from received signal. The computer simulation shows that the receiver adapting the proposed algorithm decreases the receiving power by 6.0 dB to achieve 10-2 uncoded BER compared with conventional LMMSE algorithm.
