Abstract :
A general method is described for attaching thin wires to surfaces segmented using triangular patches which allows significant versatility in their positioning, whilst maximising computational efficiency by preserving the majority of the surface segmentation, and hence impedance matrix, when wires are added or moved. Input impedances for a monopole positioned on a surface calculated using this method agree well with published controls.
