Characteristics of animation industry in United Kingdom and the inspirations for Chinese animation industry

Animation industry has become a new growth point of national economy. The development of global creative industries also indicates that a new century of culture and art-focused, creative animation industry is coming. As the leader in the world creative industries, the UK´s animation industry has also taken the forefront in the world. In this paper, we made a comprehensive description of the characteristics of the British animation industry through the following three aspects: creativity, education and government policies, analyzed the root causes of its success; and combining with the status quo of Chinese animation industry, we summarized some inspiration from the aforementioned three aspects, trying to explore some new ideas for the development of Chinese animation Industry.
