Abstract :
By using the results of cross-cultural research by Hofstede, based on the intermediary variable of organizational culture, this paper studied the relationship between uncertainty avoidance and management innovation, and constructed the theoretical model of uncertainty avoidance influence on management innovation. Drawing on patent data of enterprises with international businesses in Beijing, this paper verified the theoretical model and research hypotheses by using structural equation model, and analyzed the mechanism and the path of uncertainty avoidance impact on management innovation. The results show that uncertainty avoidance can not directly affect the management innovation, but can affect it indirectly through organizational culture. We also find that the external adaptation value and internal integration value of organizational culture play key intermediary roles in the influence relationship between uncertainty avoidance and management innovation.
