Abstract :
Real-time 11.25 Gb/s optical OFDM transmissions over 2000 m OM1/OM2 legacy MMFs with optical power penalties of <;0.5 dB are experimentally demonstrated, for the first time, in directly modulated 3.63 GHz VCSEL-based IMDD systems subject to central launch.
