Abstract :
The matrix inversion technique was used to design an adaptive array for the reduction of co-channel interference in mobile communications. The projection technique was used to design an adaptive array for the personal-satellite link. This paper is intended to compare the two techniques to show the advantages and limitation of each. The matrix inversion technique is reviewed and its advantages and limitations are discussed. The projection technique is also reviewed and discussed.
