Abstract :
An automatic visual inspection-diagnosis expert system based on knowledge extraction and acquisition is presented. Images of a PC-board are grabbed and fed to the system. The main goal of the system is to acquire the functional behavior of the PC-board and compare the results with experimental ones. The sytem can also respond to other user queries. The secondary goal would be to detect any type of physical or behavioral defects that may be present on the board
