Abstract

Agility is one of key solutions to responding to changing surroundings. Enterprise Information systems (EISs) are main support for enterprise developing. Agility of EISs impacts greatly on enterprise´s competitiveness. Agility of workforce in SDLC of EISs could not be ignored when studying on agility of EISs, but no relative research work has been reported till now. This study is on workforce agility in EISs, based on relative literatures, focusing on features of agile workforce, workforce agility metric in EISs is provided, with explanation and focus analysis when measuring agility of workforce, which can help to evaluate and facilitate agility of workforce, combining other metric in EISs such as hardware and software, which can also help to guide EISs´ agility improvement well.
