Abstract :
The application of the Volterra integral equation method to investigations of the electromagnetic fields interaction with a non-linear medium in a dielectric layer is considered. Transformation of the initial Gaussian pulse and the modulated Gaussian pulse is computed. Complexity of the pulses is calculated by virtue of Crutchfleld ´statistical complexity´ measure and its change in time is shown.
