Abstract :
A new semi-fragile watermarking algorithm for content authentication is proposed in this paper. Based on human visual system, the watermark can be adaptively embedded into host image in the wavelet domain by using detail coefficients in our algorithm. The watermark can be extracted without the original host image. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed watermarking scheme has imperceptibility, frangibility and can detect effectively the tampered regions. In addition, it is robust to JPEG compression.
