Title :
Use of the FDTD-ADI method for calculating SAR in human head models
Abstract :
The FDTD-ADI scheme is implemented to analyze problems of handset-mounted antenna electromagnetic field-human head interactions. The algorithm has significant promise for stable and accurate FDTD modeling of electromagnetic wave phenomena. As demonstrated in this paper, the number of time steps in the simulation can be reduced and the algorithm is unconditionally stable, thus, the time-step size does not depend on the Courant-Friedrich-Levy condition.
