Abstract
In the context of an aging society, the rational design of public fitness facilities has a positive meaning in improving health level and life quality of citizens, especially for the elderly group, and in building a harmonious society. The paper analyzes the current situation of outdoor public fitness facilities and proposes the principle and requirements of public fitness facilities design, in order to expect public fitness facilities to play its role to the greatest extent through scientific design, thus maximizing social benefits.
