Abstract :
This paper presents the deals with the BEM-based analysis of the eddy-current problems in the multi-material configurations. Proper eddy-current computation in the multi-material structures require proper treatment of the excitation current distribution over the interfaces between different materials (pre-processing run), as well as formulating of the proper boundary condition when performing the eddy-current analysis. Here we discuss the new approaches for both types of boundary conditions, using a H-BEM-formulation for eddy-current analysis in both current-carrying structures and passive metallic structures
