Abstract :
The multipath model of powerline communication is limited because measurements are initially required for some attenuation parameters. In this paper, new analytical approach of specific attenuation is suggested for higher frequencies for N = 4 paths at 10 MHz to 100 MHz. Based on this finding, the multipath model is suggested for higher frequencies. The results show that with the new model the attenuation span between 68.5 to 71.5 dB.
