  • Abstract
It is important to sharing knowledge among the variant actors in universities and institutes. However todaypsilas widely used tools for knowledge sharing are much ineffective, which displays as either lack of semantics or inconvenience to use. In order to resolve the both deficiencies, paper introduces to P2P knowledge sharing system with folksonomies. A unified concept named knowledge space for representing various types of knowledge objects and its representation based on folksonomies are defined. Paper then gives two methods based on folksonomies to measure the similarity between different knowledge spaces and partition a knowledge space into several knowledge sub-spaces. Aiming at improving knowledge sharing more effective, paper proposes a semantic handshake process to form semantic communities, which fully applies the intelligence and negotiation of collectivity. At last architecture of P2P knowledge sharing system based on folksonomies is given and according to it a prototype system is implemented.
