  • Abstract
The proliferation of Internet and Information Technology (IT) has been transformed a lot in library service features by the effect of digital and networked environment change. IT settings and related facilities in library should be easy to use and support the satisfaction of users needs. Library managers need to concern themselves with resource allocation in that they arrange their excellent services in a way that will attract users to enter/use the library. The aim of this study aimed to describe the impact of IT in university libraries and understand the information needs of users through a case analysis of library instruction in the Technical and Vocational Education System (TVES) of Taiwan. The findings revealed that most of the library users were satisfied with their library information services on the IT impact; they still need professional assistance in their using IT for information search in the increase of e-resources.
