            Abstract : 
We have investigated a gold ion laser generating the lines 282.3, 284.7, 289.3 and 291.8 nm in a nanosecond pulsed longitudinal discharge in the mixture He-Au. The optimum values for excitation current PRR of 8.2 kHz and for neon pressure of 27 Torr were determined
