Abstract
Smartphones and tablets are becoming the de facto standard devices for accessing Internet content and services. The debate on net neutrality, recognised as a key techno-social component of Internet governance, has focused so far on “wired” Internet. In this position paper we advocate the use of a crowdsensing approach, coupled with Open Data philosophy, as the way to build a “citizen observatory” on net neutrality in mobile Internet. This is expected to positively impact the evolution towards a sustainable mobile Internet governance.
