Abstract :
Through analyzing the system which build by CP 5611and S7-200 PLC and RS-485 protocol standards, distributed application system based on bus architecture is built by using PC and multiple PLC. In order to avoid using the OPC, the way is converting RS232 to RS485 through serial port. The fast data communication is realized between PC and multiple PLCs by using free-port mode, custom command word and data packet format. The practical application has proved that this distributed application system is feasible, real-time control is excellent and data transmission is also reliable.
