Abstract :
The working efficiency of electrostatic precipitator can be affected by many factors, and the dust particle size is one of the important factors. The coal dust is used to subject investigated in this test, Dust particle size distribution is tested through experiment combining the theories foundation of the dust particle charge, and the relation between the size of the coal dust particle and the dust collecting efficiency of electrostatic precipitator is analyzed. When electric-field intensity is 32.857 kV and 60 kV, dust collecting efficiency with augment of dust particle size first increase then reduce, but when electric-field intensity is 30 kV, particle size has little effect on dust collecting efficiency. While particle size is 300.0-109.0 μm, dust collecting efficiency is steady when the electric fields have the same intensity.
