Abstract :
This paper presents the architecture and junction model of IP-based network-layer mobility management for the convergence of heterogeneous wireless network and next generation mobile Internet, and provides a framework of hierarchical network-layer mobility management based on domain-discovery scheme Also it gives a handoff strength measurement algorithm and a domain reorganizing scheme, regarding the asymmetry characteristics of the network services. The simulation result shows that flexible domain reorganizing scheme can obviously reduce the signaling cost and improve the traffic quality of the mobile terminal.
