  • Abstract
    In this paper, the chaotification problem of a class of stable smooth-air-gap permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system is investigated. First, the smooth-air-gap PMSM plant is exactly represented by a simple T-S fuzzy model with a few fuzzy rules. Then, a nonlinear delayed feedback controller is designed by parallel distributed compensation technique. In addition, it is proved that the chaos will be generated by choosing appropriate controller gain and time delay constant. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed chaotic anticontrol method is verified by simulation results.
