Abstract
Low-power image sensors are desirable for portable applications, including cellular phones, portable digital assistants (PDAs), and wireless security systems. Scaled CMOS technology has bright prospects for both high performance and low power image sensor systems. This image sensor for 1.2 V operation dissipates one-to-two orders of magnitude less power than the current state of the art CMOS active pixel sensors.
