Abstract
Transmit beamforming is a powerful strategy to suppress multiple-access interference (MAI) and increase the system capacity if the downlink channel is known precisely. However, it is indeed very difficult to get the exact channel information in realistic scenarios. In this paper, we present a zero interference transmit beamforming (ZIBF) scheme which only uses the statistical information of the downlink channel. Maximin SINR strategy is exploited to satisfy the specific constraints between the total transmission power and the quality of service (QoS) requirement of individual users. The robust algorithm related to the presented scheme is also addressed. Simulation results analyze the performance of the presented scheme and demonstrate the effectiveness.
