Abstract
A new kind of flexible radar baseband architecture is introduced. The architecture is capable of providing radar signal with variable signal parameters and modulation parameters. Parameters are adjusted according to the feedback of received data using a real-time software method. With this kind of architecture, multifunction radar systems can be implemented with less hardware reconfiguration. Also, the overall system performance can be improved because of the adaptability of radar signal to different application conditions.
