Abstract :
We report the enhancement of multi-pulse generation in a passively mode-locked fiber laser. The multi-pulse formation is greatly enhanced by inserting a narrow-band FBG into the laser cavity. The number of output pulses varied depending on the pump power level. Moreover, the chaotic state of output pulses was observed.
