Abstract :
Lately, the renewable energy has become a very important part of the energy sources. For implementation or maintenance of renewable energy systems is necessary to have well trained engineers. To accomplish this, it is necessary to have good instruments and tools for conducting experiments in the field. This paper presents a solution developed by the authors for studying the solar cells and wind turbines as parts of the renewable energy sources. The solution is focused on students in the sense of using a mobile low-cost system outside the laboratory. The developments are made around the myDAQ device and the LabVIEW graphical programming language from National Instruments.
