Abstract :
Polarization radiation characteristics of quantum-well heterolasers with no selection of the emission frequency and with dispersion cavities are analyzed in dependence on the loss coefficient. Changes in the degree of polarization are connected with the relation between the coefficients of optical loss for TE and TM modes. Possible ways to obtain the single-mode oscillation of the required radiation polarization are mentioned.
