Abstract
The key issues in remote disk design are performance and recoverability. Performance concerns stem from the introduction of management overhead for implementing remote access to the disk and from the overhead incurred with network transmission. In this paper, we will study the Remote Disk Systems, and research their Performance and Reliability.
