Abstract :
In recent years, the industry cluster in developing countries comes to the bottleneck which is "big but not strong" because of excessive reliance on cost competition and lack of innovation ability. Therefore, possessing industry cluster does not mean possessing the economic competitiveness, the formation of innovation network is the source of competitive advantage in the cluster. Gradually, how to promote the formation of innovation network of industry cluster in developing countries becomes an urgent problem of decision-makers to explore and solve. In this paper, we introduce the knowledge network in the cluster innovation system, review the development of clustering coefficient and the clustering coefficient of weighted network, analyze the mechanism to form the advantage of cluster innovation, then discuss the effects of clustering coefficient on the innovation ability of the industry cluster. According to the analysis, the larger the clustering coefficient of weighted knowledge network is, the stronger the innovation ability of the industry cluster is; and the clustering coefficient will be reduced step by step with the time evolution. Finally, this paper gives the compensation strategies of the clustering coefficient in order to create continuing power for the cluster innovation. The conclusion of this research has some significance as reference for those policy-makers who try to improve the level of industry cluster knowledge innovation.
