            Abstract : 
The paper has investigated the voltage flicker detection method based on wavelet fourier transform. The wavelet transform,which is a very powerful tool for analysing non stationary signals,can effectively measure and analyse the power quality signals.This method use fast wavelet transform to accurately find out the start time of voltage flicker signals and use fast fourier transform (FFT)to detect the frequency and amplitude of the flicker signals in the following. This method has good performance of flicker detection.
