Abstract
Routing is simultaneously the most complicated function of a network and the most important problem for network. In this paper, based on current crank-back mechanism, a new mechanism of crank-back based on re-routing in crank-back node is proposed. Optical networks are high-capacity telecommunications networks based on optical technologies and component that provide routing, grooming, and restoration at the wavelength level as well as wavelength-based services. Simulation results show that, the new mechanism is efficient in optical network.
