Abstract :
The paper reports on the results obtained for the production and acceleration of radioactive ions with the Louvain-la-Neuve cyclotrons. The specific problems of the separation of isobaric beams at low energy with a high efficiency is presented. Their consequences for the design of a cyclotron dedicated to the acceleration of radioactive beams are discussed
