Abstract
An analytical method is proposed for efficient computation of the matrix elements in the method of moment (MoM) solution of surface integral equations. The method is based on expressing the free space Green´s function as a summation of plane waves. The exponential form of the plane wave expansion, makes it possible to analytically evaluate the surface integrals involved in computing the matrix elements as closed form expressions. This method reduces the computational complexity of filling the matrix from O(N2) to O(N).
