Abstract
A wideband (23.3%) microstrip patch antenna is designed and simulated. Radiating elements are symmetric and non-symmetrically distributed slits around the outer sections of the patch antenna. Design steps and the various trials on the geometry of the patch are explained in detail and presented in figures. Excitation is a single probe feed. The antenna can be used for 3G Wireless Networks in UMTS Band and IEEE S-band.
