Abstract :
Due to widespread of Internet and the tendency of web 2.0, social networks such as Facebook and Plurk have a great impact on human daily life including interpersonal relationship, information sharing and knowledge construction. On the same time, the students of elementary school possess basic computer skills and begin to contact the social network. Their perception toward social network and their behaviors on social networks will be an important research for the information educationist. This study develop a questionnaire to investigate the 648 fifth and sixth grade students´ perception toward social network and their behaviors from two elementary schools in Taipei City. The results indicate that the learners with different academic achievement levels and divergent computer literacy show significant difference on partial social network behaviors and perception toward social networks.
