Abstract :
A quantum dots fiber amplifier (SQDFA), fabricated by using a fiber coupler coated with PbS QDs film, is theoretical estimated. With a proper design of the structure, a power ratio 30/70 of the signal is outputted with a total gain of 8 dB and the gain efficiency of 3.48 dB/cm.
